Clear deep-ruby colour. Aromas of black cherries and blueberry jam. These berry flavours attack the palate like Don Quixote attacking a windmill, with a bit of Spanish craziness - lots of juciness and with light vinalla milk chocolate and java bean. The finish is dry and full bodied with a nice balance of acid and tannins.
Capa Collection is a wonderful way to experience new wines. The grapes used for this wine come from a single vineyard located in the heart of El Provencio. This vineyard was chosen for this wine due to the high quality of grape clusters found. The climate is continental meaning that the vineyards are exposed to freezing cold winters sometime resulting in a thin blanket (una capa) of snow. During the summers the vineyards are exposed to very warm and dry conditions with very little precipitation ensuring concentrated ripe fruit.
