There are lots of Oz Sauv Blancs on the market and ours are different to those from NZ – mostly they’re not as ‘cat’s-piss’ like. I very much like the Longview Whippet Adelaide Hills. It’s light and racy, and I drank it too fast… The 2017 vintage was very cool and there are amazing flavours in the fruit even at low sugar levels.

The ‘Whippet’ Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of guava, mangosteen, green beans, honeysuckle, and lemon. The palate displays refreshing, green bean and nettle characters and finishes with incredible mouth-watering acidity. It’s got some zing about it.
