“Light, bright crimson; a beautifully fragrant wine, the use of 30% whole bunches a masterstroke for an elegant and pure red-red berried pinot strongly reminiscent of Volnay, Burgundy. Has transformed over the past 12 months.” 96 Points.
Bad Boys Notes:
What is interesting about this wine is the back story. This wine should be more expensive but the notes from James Halliday hints at this back story. The wine at first was “declassified” because at first, the wine was not as good as first thought – as the wine aged it got better! That is why it got released and the great price!
