Appearance: Deep red with cherry colored highlights

Nose: Pleasing aromas of cherry pie opening up to aromas of red berry jam with herbal notes.

Palate: Starts off bold. Full-bodied and generous on the palate with predominant notes of cherry echoing the aromas perceived on the nose.

The tannins gradually reveal a sensation of velvetiness that complements the flavor profile. This wine is perfect with duck confit prepared with porcini mushrooms, veal Marengo or pigeon with green peas.

Grape varieties: Grenache grapes are chosen for the fruitiness they lend to the wine while Syrah gives its subtlety to the blend, adding structure and intensifying color.

Serving temperature: 15 to 16°C. May be opened ½ hour before serving.
